Welcome to LitCloze, developed by ClozeAnki. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our application and related services (including the web app and website).
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you register and sign in using Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture URL.
- Learning Progress & Data: To provide spaced repetition and sync features, we store your learning progress, statistics, streaks, deck configurations, words learned, review attempts, and card intervals on our servers via Google Cloud Firestore.
- Newsletter Email: If you enter your email in the “stay in the loop” form on our website, we store that email address to send you occasional product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Communication Preferences: We store your consent choices regarding marketing, feedback, and educational emails.
- Future Advertising Data: If we show advertisements in the future, we and our advertising partners may collect device advertising IDs (e.g., Google ADID, iOS IDFA) and basic telemetry data to serve relevant ads. (The current app ships with the advertising ID disabled.)
- Payment & Subscriptions: For premium paid features, all transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing and Apple App Store Billing. We do not store or process your credit card numbers on our servers.
